Gary Vaynerchuk

Gary Vaynerchuk is a Belarusian American entrepreneur, author, speaker and internet personality. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts in 1998.

After graduation he assumed control of his father's Springfield, New Jersey store, Shopper's Discount Liquors and renamed it to Wine Library. By 2003, Gary had increased the worth of the store to $60 million from $3 million through e-commerce and pricing. In 2009, he co-founded VaynerMedia, a social media services firm with his brother AJ Vaynerchuk. Within 7 years, had started grossing $100 million in revenue.

In 2009, he released a book titled “Crush It! Why Now is the Time to Cash in on your Passion”. In 2011, he published another book titled “The Thank You Economy”. He published a third in 2013 titled “Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook: How to Tell Your Story in a Noisy Social World” and a fourth in 2016, “AskGaryVee: One Entrepreneur's Take on Leadership, Social Media, and Self-Awareness”.

Apart from being a very successful businessman, Vaynerchuk has made profitable investments in tech like Facebook, Twitter, Venmo, Tumblr and others.
